The objective of the Jason Statham Workout is to build a body wrapped in nothing but pure muscle. This is done by strength training with one of the most effective body lifts of all: the deadlift. To do this, Jason Statham would have to work his way up to his one-repetition maximum (1RM) – which is the heaviest weight he can lift at one go. But since it is impossible to start off a workout with the hardest exercise without experiencing some terrible cramps; before beginning the Jason Statham workout routine demands that a two-part warm-up session is completed first.

The first warm up session is rowing. 10 minutes on the Concept 2 rowing machine at a pace that’s less than 20 strokes per minute (SPM) is all this requires.

The second warm up requires a pyramid circuit. As the name itself suggests, the exercises in this part have to be done in circuits, not all at once, in other words, the “pyramid repetition structure” is used here.

The next part of the Jason Statham workout is a medium intensity workout wherein push-ups and ring pull-ups are in order. Despite being classic pull-ups, the Jason Statham workout takes it one step further by using gymnastic rings instead of the bar, and tries to perform each repetition as quickly as possible while trying to keep control of the rings.

Now the workout starts getting more intense with Bodyweight Squats. It is important to remember that there are no breaks between the different levels. Everything has to be done one after another is rapid succession. This is where the dreaded deadlifts come in. It is the only exercise in this section of the workout but even then requires preparation for itself. The Jason Statham workout routine requires that it is started with light weights of about 35 percent of the final amount of his 1RM before the weight is slowly increased to the 1 RM point.

As for the Jason Statham workout routine itself (coupled with the Jason Statham diet (coming later) ), you can rest assured that it is as effective as it claims to be when you hear Statham himself say that it is  “brutal”, “nauseating”, “a nightmare” or “horrible”. This is not the sort of training for the faint hearted – it is the sort that will break you before building you up again. But, if seeing is believing, all you have to do is watch one of his movies to know what the Jason Statham workout routine is capable of, a movie like the Transporter will be more than enough proof for even the keenest eye.

As the story goes, Statham trained with a certain Logan Hood, who happens to be a former Navy Seal. He is the one credited with creating the now infamous Jason Statham workout routine.  The original routine required a full hard 6 days per week with each session lasting about 35 minutes and a well earned (and well controlled) rested on Sundays. This along with the Jason Statham diet plan has given Statham extremely enviable results; a workout plan which causes you to lose 17 lbs in 6 weeks is definitely a plan worth trying out!

There are two main principles which the Statham workout routine requires every follower to follow religiously:  Firstly, every workout must be different from the previous one in some way, no matter how small, never keep doing the same thing over and over again and secondly, everything must be recorded in minute detail. This includes the weights used and the time taken by the recovery period after and between active periods

Although the routine should change a little every day, every session must consist of 3 primary stages which progressively increase in intensity for the Jason Statham workout routine to be effective:

First, you will need to start with a 10-minute warm-up which uses the Concept 2 Rowing Machine. This is a good way to start because it is easy on the joints, gradually raises core body temperature and prepares almost all the muscle groups for the upcoming, gruelling work out.

For the next 10-minutes of training the Jason Statham workout routine demands that moderate intensity work should be done. This is the stage which can be varied the most and should never remain the same for two consecutive days. The final phase in the Jason Statham workout routine is interval training. This phase can slightly with every workout, but would remain essentially unaltered for a long period of time. There are about 6 exercises which occur in any order of varying intensities and should be performed back-to-back without rest. Of course these should be done in repetitive circuits with rests between them and not at a stretch.

If you’ve watched some of Jason Statham’s movies such as The Transporter series in which he plays the lead, you may think that those macho fight scenes in which he uses martial arts to dispense with his enemies are all body doubles or digital effects, however, you may be surprised to know that those are actually him.
Jason Statham was instructed in martial arts by none other than Corey Yuen, a fight choreographer who attended the same school as Jackie Chan. In interviews, Statham’s stated that when he was younger, he was inspired by the likes of Bruce Lee (who isn’t?) to take up the martial arts.

In the movie “War”, in which Jason Statham stars opposite Jet Li, you’ll notice that martial arts plays a huge role in the film as well, which is unsurprising as the film is about the Chinese Triad. Corey Yuen choreographed the fight scenes in this movie as well.
Jason Statham has made quite a name for himself in the action movie industry, starring along-side many legends such as Sylvester Stallone and Bruce Willis in the film “The Expendables” which is about a bunch of more-than-qualified mercenaries attempting to overthrow a Latin American tyrant.

Jason Statham has stated in interviews that he has drabbled with all forms of the martial arts, from kickboxing and Win Chun to karate. He’s mentioned that Yuen likes to combine various fighting styles rather than just stick to one.

In War, he was up against the renowned martial artist Jet Li and could almost match up to the legends prowess at the martial arts.

Hi everyone,

you are probably here to find information about the Jason Statham workout, fitness program, diet and bodybuilding or fighting tips of our beloved “The Transporter” or “Death Race” actor Jason Statham.

But as always lets start at the beginning of the story. Here are some general information about Jason Statham for those of you who do not know Jason:

Jason Statham was born September 12, 1967 in Chesterfield, Derbyshire (England). In his younger years Jason decided not to follow his father’ footsteps in the local market stalls and decided to pursue the arts. He loved to play football and was also a huge fan of diving. Jason Statham actually finished 12th in the Diving World Championship in 1992 and was a member of Britain’s National Diving Squad for twelve years.

His first real meeting with the media was after he was spotted from a talent agent while he was training in London. He was casted and became a model for French Connection (FCUK), a famous clothing brand.

Later on he was introduced to Guy Ritchie, who offered him the role in his movie “Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels” which lead to another collaboration with Guy Ritchie in the famous movie Snatch, where he played the role of “Turkish” next to other famous actors like Brad Pitt, Benicio del Toro and Dennis Farina. Today we can say that “Snatch” was Jason’s breakthrough in Hollywood. Later he played in movies like “Ghosts of Mars”, “The One”, “The Transporter”, “Crank”, “The Italian Job”, The Bank Job, “Death Race”, “The Mechanic”, “Blitz” and many more.

To actually understand what an impact Jason Statham made in the era of real Hollywood action heros he was casted for the action blockbuster “The Expandables” and had the chance to play alongside already established action heros like Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jet Li and Mickey Rourke.
